Leicester, UK, based Label Apeel, has installed a Shuttleworth MIS as part of a £750,000 investment programme that also included two presses, a five colour Aqualflex and an eight colour MPS EF300.
Managing director Stuart Kellock comments: “Since installing the MIS system we have been able to evaluate our business model and strategize much more, and this has resulted in making specific areas of our business more profitable. We are also working more efficiently as a team and have identified and increased business from several product lines that were underperforming but have now become more profitable.
“It really is helping us to monitor and make inroads into improving the overall business as well as our cashflow,” he concludes.
The £3M turnover business manufactures selfadhesive labels and swing tickets for a wide range of applications. It plans to expand further into the food sector and aims to gain BRC/IOP food hygiene accreditation.
