Sheeting to be boosted at Korsnäs Frövi

3 December 2010

Increasing sales of cartonboard sheet products have made Korsnäs Frövi’s decide to increase capacity by acquiring a further sheeting machine. The Swedish group currently has two sheeters with a total annual capacity of 60,000 tonnes – now deemed insufficient to meet future market needs.

The new investment, totalling SEK 30 million, includes measures affecting the existing equipment and premises as well as new machinery. The new sheeter, with an estimated capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year, is expected to come on line during the autumn of 2011.
