EML 2000, UK agent for Italian sheeter manufacturer Cavalleri, has sold a CT Series sheeter to Lee Filters, in Andover. The machine has a working width of 1,550mm and a cut length capability from 250-1,010m. It uses a drum for collection of the cut sheets and a patented system to deliver them to the high pile delivery.
This is said to be ideal for the conversion of all types of materials, from tissue paper to metallized film - even electrostatically charged materials from 10 to 250g/m2.
The CT Series comes in three working widths, 1,050, 1250, and 1,550mm, with two cut length options, 250-1,010mm and 300-1,500mm. The Model CTX15S is supplied without the collection drum as a conventional deadknife sheeter and in much wider widths to convert materials up to 1,000g/m2, including corrugated.
