Sessions symbol solves problem

22 August 2006

Sessions of York has added a tactile warning symbol its booklet style Multi-Layer Plus labels, which offer up to five printed pages to accommodate a wealth of information where space is at a premium - especially relevant for multilingual instructions.

For this product to comply with consumer health and safety legislation, Sessions can now incorporate not only the visual hazard warning, but a transparent tactile symbol for the benefit of partially sighted or blind consumers. Manufactured to be flexible, and said to be resistant to cracking, the transparent tactile symbol is placed over the visual warning without obscuring text or graphics.

Sessions supplies Multi-Layer Plus labels – with or without tactile symbology - on sheets for hand application and reels for semi or automatic labelling. The company also offers a wide range of labelling equipment for semi and fully automatic application of these specialized labels onto filled bottles.
