Servo controlled pouch making system

22 June 2010

Joke’s new PLD/S 800 pouch making machine offers a compact design and servo technology making it ‘ideal for high volume production of edge-sealing bags’. Materials that can be processed include PA/PE, aluminium composite, PE/PA/PE and paper composite.

The PLD/S 800 uses both composite films and tubular or flat material. It has two adjustable lengthways sealing stations and two crossways stations - all controlled by servomotors. Maximum working width is 800mm.

With printed film, a photoelectric cell control precisely positions the print design in relation to the sealing seam. The temperatures of the sealing stations are separately adjustable and electronically controlled. Adjustment is performed using the touchscreen, which has a large memory and is simple to use.

A folding triangle can be provided so that the machine can be set up in narrow spaces and flat film up to 500mm wide can be processed.
