To speed service and provide technical support and training in emerging sales markets, Komori is to open new Technical Service Centres in the Czech Republic and Malaysia. Both facilities are scheduled to open in September 2008.
The Eastern European Service and Sales Centre will be a branch office of Komori International Netherlands and will operate out of the headquarters of Graffin, Komori’s distributor in Prague. Employing 10 specialists, the centre will provide sales and service support, training and an on-going preventive maintenance programme to Komori customers in the region.
The service centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will also employ 10 specialists. In addition to speeding service response times, it will provide product training for customer technicians and press operators. It will also serve as a sales support demonstration centre and provide preventive maintenance support to customers.
