Seeking solutions in the water

2 December 2002

Water soluble packaging research consultancy Aquasol has opened a dedicated development facility in the UK. The company, which holds numerous patents for thermoforming and injection moulding of water soluble containers and skin packing using water soluble film, has made the investment in larger premises following "a significant uptake of the technology across many markets".

The purpose built premises at Watton will be operated in partnership with Rogers Precision Engineering, a specialist in tooling for production equipment, including thermoforming and blister machines. Each company will have its own unit, side by side with the other.

The facility will also provide evaluation services for customers, and undertake production of larger quantities for market trials.
