A new version of Screen’s B1 PlateRite 8800 platesetter has the facility to turn off the registration punch. Developed for plate production for web presses, where punch holes are not required, it allows the plate to be imaged 90 degree rotated. It also allows an extra 3mm at the front grip edge, giving a larger imaging area. The new feature is available as a factory option on the PlateRite 8800E, 8800S and 8800Z models.
