Russians inaugurate powerful BOPP line

OAO Novatek has inaugurated a new BOPP stretching line in Novokuybshevsk, Russia. Supplied by Brückner , the "ultra flexible" 8.2m line has an annual capacity of 25,500t and enables Novatek to produce various packaging films ranging from 10-80 micron.

Brückner supplied the line as a complete turnkey project including primary and secondary slitters, metallizers, palletizers, a plant logistic system, utilities, and the entire factory layout, in co-operation with its Russian engineering partner Giproplast.

Another important element supplied was an ultra modern BOPP film laboratory to assure a constant high film quality level by consecutive analysis.
