Retrofit automates sheet collection and jogging

9 September 2004

Said to be easily retrofitted on to ruling, paper folding, embossing, sheeting and other converting equipment where sheets are manually removed, Maxson's Series 200 Stacker "provides a well jogged pile and eliminates the need for continuous operator attention at the collecting area". Features include an automatic feed down table, an elevator brake motor and an independent jogging system. The feed down unit automatically lowers the load table as the pile height increases, reducing the need for frequent sheet removal.

Capable of stacking loads up to 1,455kg and a pile height of up to 1,550mm, the stacker can handle sheets up to 1,650mm wide and between 254-1,400mm long. It can also be equipped with an extending grid which temporarily holds the sheeted stock while the finished skid is off loaded.
