Repeat Order for Makro Labelling
One of the UK 's premier mineral water brands has just placed a repeat order for a second Makro Labeller, within a year of the first Makro machine being installed in the client's new high-speed production line.
Sales for the market-leading brand have meant that the existing glass bottling line is being upgraded. The first Makro Labeller is being moved from the new multi-purpose Glass & PET line to the glass bottling line and a faster Makro MAK4-30P labeller capable of 30,000 b.p.h. will be installed in January. The highly versatile labeller is being initially supplied with two labelling stations, which are non-stop tandem units applying body labels, however, the machine is capable of having additional labelling stations added for future Back or Neck labelling requirements.
As the bottles are being labelled prior to filling, the Makro MAK-4 machine is being fitted with a compressed air system, which will be used on the lightweight PET bottles to make them rigid when applying the body labels to the empty PET bottles.
The MAK-4 will be labelling both glass and PET bottles for 1 litre, 750ml, 500ml and 330ml round bottles.

This new order adds to a record year of sales for Makro in the UK and also for Makro in Italy, who have just moved in to brand new state of the art premises in Goito.
