Emerson & Renwick has received a repeat order worth over €700,000 from Italy for one its high speed in register hot embossers. The machine will be equipped with advanced motor control technology capable of applying an embossed pattern in register on to a pre-printed reel of gravure printed wallpaper.
Another repeat order from the Palitra wall-covering plant in Moscow is for a combination rotary screen/rotary gravure press. Each colour unit is capable of printing either by rotary screen or gravure, said to provide "enormous flexibility" in terms of print design capabilities. It is driven by an electronic lineshaft, which allows extra colour units to be easily retrofitted.
