Re-imaging of rotary screens

27 June 2004

To meet the growing demand for durable, re-usable and re-imageable rotary screens, Eire based narrow web printing origination house Holfeld Graphics has introduced a re-imaging service for users of Stork Prints' RotaMesh screen programme. The company has installed Stork's complete pre- and postpress equipment, including stripping, inspection, exposure and washing equipment, and is offering lead times of 36 hours on screen re-imaging jobs.

Available in sizes from 307.7-923mm, Stork's pure-nickel, non woven RotaMesh screens are reusable and re-imageable up to 15 times. Their hexagonal hole formation is said to give extra stability for faster print runs and life-spans of up to 500,000m2.

Rory Connaughton, Holfeld Graphics' managing director, comments: "For today's converter. Stork's RotaMesh programme is certainly the answer to economical rotary screen printing, and a perfect solution for an industry where looking after margins and reducing costs is all-important. By adding the re-imaging service to our portfolio, we are even better placed to keep the narrow web screen customers at the cutting edge of innovation, competition – and creativity."
