Lohmann has further optimised its DuploFlex range and developed new products. The basic DuploFlex 5 range consists of several adhesive tapes that differ in the hardness of the foams and adhesion forces. Four different degrees of hardness of the foam and three adhesion forces are now available.
Another new product, the DuploFlex HP 5 (high performance) range, is a plate mounting tape range suited for special print jobs. It is said to allow highly controlled compression. “The special foam, used in the HP product range is characterised by its longevity or a faster resiliency,” says the company.
For the label industry, Lohmann has developed the DuploFlex 3 and 4 range, which differs in its foam thickness and foam varieties.
It has also introduced a new product range for high quality post print, called DuploFlex CB (corrugated board), which is available in two versions. One variant is a single sided adhesive foam tape and the other is a non adhesive product with a foam on one side and a PET liner on the other. For both versions, the foam can be offered in various degrees of hardness and thickness. “DuploFlex CB consists of a closed cell foam with optimal resilience and shows resistance against water and solvents. It can bridge the column and absorb the print vibrations, offering many advantages for the high quality post print industry,” says the company.
