Surface Specialties UCB will increase prices of all its radiation curable products in Europe, effective September 15, 2004, or as contracts permit. The increase for monomers and epoxy acrylates will be €0.20/kg. For all other radiation curable products, it will be €0.10/kg.
The company says these increases have been made necessary by "very rapid and dramatic changes in the cost and availability of almost all raw materials used in radiation curable resins," and that it is putting every effort into securing sufficient supplies to meet growing demand.
