Quantum leaps for UK’s first Diana X 115

16 June 2011

Quantum Print & Packaging is the first company in the UK to install a Diana X 115 model folder gluer. The Heidelberg line is equipped with a WH Leary Array 6 high pressure glue application system.

Willenhall-based Quantum’s Managing Director Chris Holmes believes the new line will “open doors that are currently ajar” and lift its £2.3 million turnover by 20% in the first full financial year of operation. His company produces short to medium run cartons, stock boxes, blister cards, point of sale and display packaging for a range of customers nationwide.

Production Director Peter Thomas says: “The Diana will give us more flexibility, greater production speeds, easier and faster makereadies and the ability to offer more bespoke, individually styled cartons and packaging products.”

The Diana X 115 features long, flexible folding paths and opens the way to the creation of new, unusual and complex designs. Users can add further modules or folding components at a later stage.
