Thai Union Paper Industrial Co (TUPI) has ordered an FS 2000 Pro folio-size sheeter from Körber PaperLink companies ECH Will and Pemco for its site at Wangsala, Thailand.
The FS 2000 Pro, a joint development of ECH Will and Pemco, is a 2,000mm wide machine. Equipped with the patented Pro technology for mark-free sheeting of sensitive paper and board grades, it also has automatic non-stop splicing and non-stop pallet change systems to increase productivity.
TUPI’s new sheeter, which will be delivered in October 2011, will cut coated duplex board grades from 170-500g/m². It will add 60,000 tonnes to the annual capacity of the Wangsala mill.
