Print City president

John Dangelmaier, president of Megtec, has been officially confirmed as the president of PrintCity. Members have voted for him to continue in the role he has held for the last five years as one of the founding figures in the strategic alliance that had the biggest hall at drupa last year. Josef Aumiller, who is head of product marketing webfed presses for MAN Roland, will continue as PrintCity vice president.

PrintCity is a strategic alliance of more than 40 companies in the graphic arts industry, present in more than 180 countries and with a combined turnover in excess of €30 billion. The organization covers the three major market segments of publishing, packaging and commercial printing. Members of PrintCity work together in specialized Activity Groups, combining a range of expertise to focus on specific areas. These groups analyze both the technology and print processes faced by graphic arts end users, and the actual and potential market applications within these areas.
