Omet enjoyed a successful Labelexpo Asia 2009 recently in Shanghai, where the Italian manufacturer displayed a Flexy 330 press. This machine, which was equipped with 10 flexo units, and rotary screen and coldfoil units, was sold to Tungkong Security Printing Co.
During the exhibition, Omet demonstrated the Flexy’s ‘outstanding’ control of tension and register. The press speed was ramped up and slowed down repeatedly to show that the registration cross, which was magnified 40x on a TV monitor, remained stable.
The demonstrations attracted a large audience and Omet says more than 600 serious enquiries were taken on the stand.
