Compose System, developer of prepress workflow and colour proofing systems, has made an OEM agreement with Alwan Color Expertise, which specialises in standardisation and colour management implementation
The deal allows Compose to include Alwan’s CMYK Optimizer technology into its full range of workflow systems. It will brand the CMYK Optimizer software as the PressMax module, whilst the CMYK Optimizer Press will be named PressMax Pro module.
The Compose PressMax is a fully integrated ink optimization workflow module operating seamlessly as part of an automated production workflow. It is said to reduce human intervention, eliminate potential errors and reduce ink consumption significantly. It also guarantees proof to press matching, supports PDF/X1a and PDF/X3 files and preserves the black channels or any primary colours.
The new Compose products will be on display at drupa 2008, on stand 9D26-1, in hall 9.
