New from ETI Converting Equipment is a fully servodriven gearless flexo printing station using a sleeve system.
Available in 520, 570 and 670mm sizes, the system has servodrives on each printhead to provide automatic register control. The anilox roll, the sleeve cylinder and the impression cylinder are independently servodriven to obtain automatic registration without changing the web tension.
This module has been designed for very precise registration, even on thin film, and ETI says a press equipped with it can run at a speed of up to 220m/min. Its ergonomic shape also allows for quick changeover and is easy to use by the operator.
