Polish slitter a ‘first’ in Eastern Europe

21 April 2009

Warsaw based manufacturer Emis has supplied a 520 mm wide Flexor 520C+ slitter rewinder with an autoregister die cutting unit at Emerson Polska, the largest independent lettershop in the CE region.

Believed to be the first machine of its type in Eastern Europe, the Flexor 520C+ features servomotors and state of the art electronics for “unsophisticated control while providing extremely consistent web tension using tensometers”. Its capability for using magnetic cylinders up to 26 in and rolls of 50 in is said to offer many possibilities for high volume output and economic solutions.

Emis launched the Flexor range in early 2008, and claims the success of the Flexor 380C+ has enabled it to capture “the majority of the market in Poland” within one year.

“Our philosophy is to offer customers state-of-the-art technology, short delivery times combined with a reasonable price tag without compromising quality’, comments international sales director Adam Robak.
