With a maximum format of 2,100 mm x 1,300 mm per sheet, the new Bobst Mastercut die cutter at Mondi Corrugated Packaging’s Szczecin plant in Poland can produce up to 7,000 sheets/hour – said to be the fastest on the Polish market.
Managing director Rafal Prendke comments: “As a result we have now increased our productivity and the quality of our products, as well as the service excellence to our customers”.
Szczecin is one of five of Mondi Corrugated Packaging plants in Poland. It has 170 employees, is ISO 14001 certified, and produces packaging ranging from regular slotted cases to die-cut and up to seven point glued boxes.
