At Labelexpo 2005 (hall 11, stand 11Q90), Jet Europe/Interflex will unveil several new water washable and solvent based plate types, for flexo and UV flexo, letterpress and dry offset printing. They are said to offer excellent ink transfer, precise and homogeneous coverage and a long lifespan.
The Jetline 700 is the company's latest in-line machine for water washable photopolymer plate making. Plates are exposed on the integrated exposure unit then washed, dried and post exposed in one production cycle. The machine is PLC controlled and easily operated by touchscreen. The IDI 30 is the compact version of the Interflex Dynamic Imaging system. A pointlight device, it is claimed to provide an exceptional level of photopolymer plate quality. "It allows a perfect dot with steep shoulders and will keep your reverses open," the company states. The system can be used for flexo, letterpress and dry offset plates.
The CombiFlex 660 is a "space saving all in one" flexo plate making device based on the latest technology. The drawer type exposure unit and the light finisher/post exposure have automatic defective lamp detection. The washer combines rotating and oscillating movements for washing and the drying unit's four drawers have one timer each. All sections are PLC controlled.
The Lasergraver is a high precision CTP imager based on the reliable Fiber Laser. "In combination with the simplicity of the technological cycle it stands for incredibly long operation without servicing, thus providing an optimal balance in costs and performance," claims Jet Europe/Interflex.
The "revolutionary" Jet Clean 800 fast, automatic plate cleaning system flushes, brushes and dries to give a "perfectly clean" plate surface. The sticky plate system holds plates firmly in place during washing and drying. After drying, they can be stored immediately.
