Developer of Tori-Flex ERP software, PlastiSoft is to enter the UK flexible plastics packaging market in 2007. The Tori-Flex system is said to have experienced tremendous success in North America by helping plastics film manufacturers “process more efficiently, make room for future growth and build profitability”.
Film manufacturers who specialize in converting, laminating and extruding can use Tori-Flex to manage their quoting, order entry, work orders, shop floor reporting and manufacturing. It also tracks WIP and finished goods for inventory or shipping, and has a fully integrated accounting suite for strong financial management.
PlastiSoft says users have been able to recover lost dollars in inventory, produce accurate job costing, better automate production at the shop floor level and prepare management reports for a complete understanding of their operations. The company plans to exhibit at K-2007, in October.
