The Mondi corrugated plant at Scunthorpe, in the UK, has become the group’s first site to be recommended for accreditation to the BRC/IoP Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.
The standard for BRC/IoP (rev 3) has recently been revised to encompass packaging for food and non-food products, and now reflects the latest thinking in packaging quality and safety standards. Although the majority of Mondi’s production facilities in the UK are currently already accredited to BRC standards, Scunthorpe is the first site to be accredited to the revised version.
