Photochromic inks perform in the sun

12 August 2014

US company Chromatic Technologies Inc (CTI) claims its new Sunlight range of photochromic inks are the first to provide fast kinetics which turn on rapidly when hit by sunlight - and with repeatability which enables the ink to turn 'on and off'. A broad colour spectrum offering, and durability in the sun are also claimed.

In development for two years, Sunlight inks are the result of CTI's proprietary technology. Suitable for use on paper, film and pressure-sensitive labels, they are available for export across the globe.

CTI also offers custom innovation incubators for customers that incorporate invention, design, consumer testing and prototyping.
