Packaging Innovations packs in the launches

Visitors to the Packaging Innovations exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, 26-27 February 2014, will be able to see the very latest developments in packaging design, materials and technological innovations, with over 350 top companies from around the world signed up to exhibit.

According to show organiser easyFairs, as well as a wide range of new products and services, visitors to Packaging Innovations 2014 will be able to take advantage of some special offers exclusive to the show, and take part in competitions.


The Alexir Partnership (Stand J43), will be showcasing its Galaxy Iced Coffee Cartocan – “the only cylindrical packaging format made from carton board to be filled aseptically with liquid and have a shelf-life of up to 12 months unchilled”.

Lageen Tuboplast (Stand E38) will be exhibiting its new printer, enabling the use of flexo/silkscreen and foil.

The show will be the first chance to see the LCF215 Label Finisher from Intec (Stand E12).

i-Sub Digital (Stand E59) will roll out its exclusive Digi-Foil system, which creates colour-accurate mock-ups in under ten minutes.

Global One-Pak (Stand J52) will be launching its inaugural range of high viscosity products for the food industry.

Also launching a new product for the food industry is HH Global and Parkside Flexibles Group (Stand C55) with Lidd, a peelable lidding solution for the ready meal market.

Graphic Measures International (Stand E59) will unveil its new ‘GMI Prime’ Packaging Quality Management service.

Wessex Packaging (Stand L53) will launch its stretch wrapping system, SafeStretch, designed to make pallet wrapping easier and safer for UK operators.

Nulogy (Stand K44) will be introducing its PackManager software for contract packaging, providing “real-time visibility, one-click recall traceability, and seamless customer integration”.

Pollard Boxes (Stand A57) will unveil its fully automatic Emmeci MC2012 MEB for high quality presentation boxes up to 330mm deep.

Rajapack (Stand G37) will debut its protective packaging products and machines, including the Opus Mini and its wide range of FasFil EZ paper void fill machine.

In another show first, The VP Group (Stand E62) will be bringing its “100% climate neutral carrier bags” to Packaging Innovations.

Erapa (UK) Limited (Stand J43a) presents its cost-cutting concept to replace cardboard sleeves with pre-printed bands for the food industry.

Specialist decorative print finisher, FRIP Finishing (Stand B35) will be launching its new window lamination, a film-based process that reduces packaging waste, to the UK market.

Robinson Packaging Innovation (Stand A39) will be unveiling its new development – “glass clear” thin walled pots made from commodity ‘bottle grade’ PET material.

Lumson Group (Stand B50) will debut its latest packaging solutions including L4Belle, Amanda CCS (Crystal Clear Shiny), a new range of TAG (Techno Airless Glass) in De Luxe Version, and Caresse.

Pharmaceutical packaging producer Neutroplast & BeyonDevices (Stand A60) will launch new items from its Boston, Talc, Svelte, and Slender ranges.

Pochpac (Stand A46) is exhibiting its new range of acid etch bottles.

Aneolia (Stand A41) will launch the IPOS 2 handheld O2 and CO2 gas analyser, and the EXOS LABO combined gas and leak analyser.

J&J Pont Packaging (Stand A29) will introduce its new range of PET Sirop bottles and a new PET Veral bottle.

Golden Valley Pallet (Stand E27) is launching Fusion33, a new technology in pallet wrap.

Bag Re:Born (Stand H37) will make its show debut with an innovation in sustainability for the carrier bag market.

Promens Packaging (Stand F45) is to unveil Slidissime, an airless jar combining protection and sensuality.

Folding carton manufacturer Benson Group (Stand A30) is to introduce a new range of food-to-go products under the Benson Delilicious brand name.

Scandolara (Stand G53) is presenting a new tube range called Scandolara Beauty.

Jenton (Stand J22) will be holding a business card draw to win an LED backpack.

Curtis Packaging (Stand F52) will be raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Organisation in the UK, by donating £5 every time a visitor fills in a postcard located at its stand.

PrimePac Solutions (Stand E35) is offering 10% off its products to visitors who order at the show.

Contact Packaging (Stand F3) is offering a 5% discount on all packaging machinery, and 50% discount off set-up charges for in-house produced printed tapes.
