Teknek, developer of web cleaning technologies, has introduced the patent pending Adhesive Roll Oscillation System, which is said to enhance the life and efficiency of the pre-sheeted adhesive roll by four times.
The main feature of this system is the movement of the pre-sheeted adhesive roll from side to side, spreading the heavy edge contamination over a larger surface area of the adhesive sheeted layer.
The oscillation system is integrated with the remainder of the line and is entirely automatic. The low pressure mechanism is said to ensure that there is no tension increase in the line. Furthermore, the system is air driven and can thus be easily installed in a range of lines and production environments.
