Opaltone is 50 per cent over target

10 February 2003

Harper says its Opaltone Division has exceeded expectations for licensing accredited prepress and ink suppliers by more than 50 per cent. In its first seven months of operation the division has also surpassed its targets for signing converters, design houses and OEMs to membership of the new Opaltone seven colour process international standard.

As reported in Converting Today January issue, Opaltone is the print technology developed by Australian company Opaltone Graphic Solutions, which provides for a pallet of 2,880 spot colour simulations while enhancing the process image from up to seven colours (CMYK+RGB). The Opaltone Division of Harper is a joint venture covering all printing methods in North and South America.
