Modular adhesive system consoles are now available to deliver portability and flexibility to Nordson hotmelt and liquid adhesive systems for folding carton and other applications. Starting from two or three basic platforms, users can choose from a wide variety of options to produce consoles tailored to their adhesive equipment.
Nordson says the consoles can be easily repositioned on a production line, shared between lines or moved away from the production area altogether, if needed. Their modularity allows adaptation as adhesive equipment or production lines change.
A basic base can be customized to accommodate Nordson equipment such as pumps, melters, guns and wire harnesses. Options include adjustable feet or castors, a fixed or pivotable control mounting and short or long arms.
The consoles can be specific to hotmelt or cold adhesive systems, or a combination of both. Specific Nordson equipment supported includes EPC-30 and LogiComm pattern controls as well as ProBlue and tabletop DuraBlue and AltaBlue TT melters.
