Nexpress inks get EU OK on food packaging

25 April 2005

The dry inks used in the NexPress 2100 digital press have been certified to be fully compliant with all EU health and safety regulations for use in food packaging. The certifications for cyan, magenta, yellow and black dry inks, as well as the new clear dry ink used to add a protective layer or a high gloss finish, were issued by ISEGA – an independent testing institute based in Germany. ISEGA's certification methods have been approved through the accreditation of the quality management system according to ISO 17025.

The NexPress 2100 press can print on a wide range of substrates, including heavier weights up to 300g/m2.
