The latest version of ArtiosCAD offers a wide array of new features to help the packaging design shop and converter. EskoArtwork says the new features benefit the complete supply chain, from design to diemaking to palletization
They include a new Blanking tool and the Round trip CAPE workflow: specifications of cartons designed in ArtiosCAD can be sent to CAPE software for a pallet solution — which can then exported back to ArtiosCAD to create and show a realistic, 3D pallet-load.
There are also new enhancements to the design and die-making tools, said to increase designer efficiency and optimize the manufacturing of cutting dies.
For POP display, the latest version of ArtiosCAD now provides support for re-board and V-notch linetypes, and tab and slot assembly tool for displays and multi-component designs.
