CMD Corp has acquired manufacturer of custom pre-made pouch equipment PDI for an undisclosed sum. CMD is know for its high speed bag and pouch converting systems, form, fill, seal packaging equipment and proprietary product development and custom engineering.
“We are extremely pleased with the PDI acquisition and feel this alignment offers our customers an even deeper and broader product line and skill set,” says CMD president John Schmidt. “We intend to fully support PDI’s legacy of innovation and will utilize CMD engineering resources and the CMD Technology Centre to provide customized solutions for the marketplace”.
PDI’s David Dytchkowskyj has been made product manager for the CMD pouch equipment line, including the newly acquired equipment.
