New owner for EskoArtwork

Danish investment group Axcel has entered into a definitive Sales Purchase Agreement with US industrial company Danaher for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in EskoArtwork for €350 million. The transaction is expected to be concluded within the first half of 2011, subject to customary approvals.

Danaher is a diversified technology manufacturer and supplier of products and services to professional, medical, industrial, and commercial customers in more than 125 countries, generating $11.2 billion of revenue in 2009.

Leading printing and packaging software supplier EskoArtwork employs about 1,050 people worldwide. Its headquarters are in Gent, Belgium, and it has R&D and manufacturing facilities in five European countries, the USA, China and India. Revenue for 2010 was €184.1 million.

On completion of the change of ownwrship, the EskoArtwork business will become a part of Danaher’s Product Identification platform.
