A new UK based company specializing in the manufacture and supply of equipment, spares and ancillary products for corona treatment applications in the plastics and flexible packaging industries. A team of industry specialists formed the new venture following the decision to close the UK and world headquarters of Sherman Treaters in Thame, UK.
Stuart Greig, director of Corona Supplies and ex sales director of Sherman Treaters explains: "A group of key ex Sherman employees, including UK sales manager Becky Stother and Stuart Moore, production manager, felt there was a significant gap in the market following the decision to close the Thame offices. Corona Supplies can offer spares and equipment sales and after-sales service to customers not only in UK, but worldwide, which is backed by an experienced team boasting nearly 50 years in corona treatment."
The new company can supply spares and consumables ex stock for customers using components sourced direct from a known supplier base. "This offers existing Sherman customers the peace of mind that comes from continuity of equipment sourcing, overseen by the same production management as they enjoyed from the now closed Sherman UK factory," says Stuart Greig.
Corona Supplies can also specify and supply new corona equipment to suit specific applications.
