New label and flexible packaging papers

M-real Speciality Papers has launched a portfolio of label and flexible packaging papers, produced at its Zanders Gohrsmühle Mill in Germany. Covering applications in the beverage, food and consumer goods industries, it includes a new flexible packaging paper, Zanflex; the new Zanlabel range; and the Chromolux cast coated label range.

New Zanflex has been especially developed for flexible packaging and is said to have outstanding

processing properties in conversion technologies such as extrusion coating, heatsealing and lamination. Its double-coated surface provides excellent printing results, ‘equivalent to using an art paper’.

The Zanlabel family offers label papers for different applications, ‘all characterised by excellent printing results and outstanding labelling properties’.

Chromolux claims to be the market leader in cast coated label papers, offering excellent printing and finishing qualities and efficient labelling properties. Its high gloss surface is said to guarantee a look of luxury.
