New BFT FLEXO system launched reduces consumption and increases efficiency of flexo printing machine

BFT Flexo is launching their new GT series of inking and washing systems in order to optimize flexographic printing process by reducing consumption.

The application of new technologies coming from different industrial sectors supports improved product effectiveness and high-level reliability.

GT series addresses the need for printers to optimize the printing and washing process, in order to lower the cost of the printed product reducing both consumption and the downtime duration for the job change.

Totally automatic and able to communicate with any other flexographic printing machine, the GT series - designed for water-based inks - allows recovery of circulating ink in the system before any job change ,saving a significant quantity of water and reducing the washing times.

After the printing phase, the system is able to recover from 1,5 up to 3,5 kgs of ink, that can be re used in further jobs.

Thanks to the analysis of the consumption statistics and the remote control, any Production Manager will be able to examine periodically the savings and the production timing for any single work, constantly monitoring the process.

Simone Bonaria, Engineer and Technical Director of BFT Flexo said: " We believe that digital print is - for some aspects - the future of our sector, but we believe that we have still to take care of the present: the reduction of the consumption of ink and water will help flexographic print remain current and competitive".
