Nampak Healthcare looks to invest

2 March 2011

Nampak Healthcare plans to invest in a new facility in Segensworth, UK, that would replace and provide an upgrade to its current carton factory in Portsmouth.

The company has begun a consultation process with staff to review the benefits of moving to the new modern, purpose-built facilities. If the new factory is to go ahead, it is envisaged that all 110 current staff will transfer to the new site. It is planned that the new facility will be fully functional by the end of 2011.

The development plans call for a significant capital investment in state-of-the-art printing and cutting and creasing technology to handle the growing workload at Portsmouth and provide scope for further expansion.
