Dutch press builder MPS is expanding its sales, installation, service and assembly operations in the North American market. MPS America is a sales and service organisation headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
"We've been in the North American market for several years and have developed some very strong relationships with printers," says Denny McGee, president of MPS America. "By implementing this strategic growth plan - which includes directives for enhancing sales, installation, service, assembly and consultative assistance - we will bring even more value to our customers.
MPS is also expanding its network of service partners. The company currently partners with Press Works to provide 24/7 support and stocking of critical spare parts for MPS presses in North America.
"Press Works does a fantastic job, and we are excited to extend our strategic co-operation. By expanding our service network we can offer world-class service in the North American market, which is our number one priority," McGee says.
Earlier this year, MPS helped to create and launch FlexPack Tech Tour 2014, a series of seminars across the US, addressing challenges, direction and solutions with flexible packaging. In these free seminars, the company joined with others from the narrow web flexible packaging supply chain to share their knowledge and provide content specifically relevant to the narrow web converter.
