Danish converter Scanket has installed its second EF multi-substrate UV flexo press from MPS. Nearly one year since the installation of the company's first MPS press, the new machine is needed to accommodate increased demand for self-adhesive labels. It is the fifth MPS press installed in Denmark over the last 12 months.
With 8 colour UV print stations and a web width of 420mm, the new machine features the APC advanced package with double servomotors for positioning of both the print sleeves and material thickness settings. The press is also equipped with a closed loop tension control multilayer lamination unit.
