A 2.85m corrugator designed to produce board at 400m/min is to be supplied to Mondi Packaging Warszawa by MarquipWardUnited. Mondi's investment was prompted by the rapid growth rate in the light industrial goods market in Poland, as well as a desire for better corrugated board quality. The machine will be installed at the company’s Mszczonow, Poland, plant for start-up early in 2007.
With the new corrugator, Mondi expects to be able to produce 160Mm2 of board/year.
