Mondi opts for QuadTech inspection technology

QuadTech is to supply its inspection technology forMondi's sheetfed corrugated presses that feature an inline diecutting capability.

QuadTech's Inspection System will be installed to monitor the entire substrate width throughout each production run. The system detects common defects such as hickies, hazing, streaks, misregistrations and colour variations at a speed of up to 7,000 sheets/hour. The first pilot installation will be in Mondi’s Bad Rappenau plant, in December.
