Mexican carton plant for Shorewood

Carton converter Shorewood Packaging has completed its new manufacturing facility in Mexico. Shorewood de Mexico, located in Aguascalientes, is the result of Shorewood's joint venture with Corporativo Cartograf, a leading Mexican packaging manufacturer.

The ISO 9002 certified plant is equipped with offset and gravure presses, as well as finishing equipment. The Aguascalientes facility has been qualified and approved by several of Shorewood's multinational customers and is already manufacturing folding cartons for the tobacco, hair care, confectionery and healthcare markets.

Shorewood Packaging is a business of International Paper and has multiple manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia.
