Metso Paper is to supply a second complete Advantage DCT 200 tissue production line to Fujian HengAn Paper Co, in China. The €20M line is scheduled to start up at the Anhai mill, in Fujian province, at the beginning of 2008.
The order follows the successful start-up of a similar line at the same mill in July, 2006. The new delivery comprises a complete tissue production line and stock preparation equipment, together with Metso Paper's new pressing technology, which is said to save energy and enhances final product quality. Metso Automation will supply an extensive automation package including process and quality controls, as well as a basis weight profiling system.
With a width of 5.6m and an operating speed of 2,000m/min, the new machine will add another 60,000t/year of high quality facial, toilet and towel grades to HengAn Group's total production. The raw material will be virgin pulp.
