More than 300 tissue paper makers from 35 nations gathered at the recent Metso Paper Tissue Technology Conference in Sunne, Sweden. The event focused on quality issues with special emphasis on fibre technology. Papers included Japanese excellence in producing high quality facial tissue, fibres for increased bulk and absorption, and new developments in through air drying.
