Metallised substrate for Xeikons

2 September 2010

Masterpiece Graphix (MGX) now offers metallised substrate enhancement services for Xeikon label presses. MGX’s R1361 material has been enhanced with a digital topcoat for the best possible image quality and toner adhesion. The company also offers Xeikon-authorised enhanced metallised materials for synthetic substrates such as BOPP and polyester.

Filip Weymans, Xeikon’s Business Development Manager – Labels & Packaging, states: “Our presses work exceptionally well with most standard self-adhesive label substrates without any pre-treatment or coating (Paper and BOPP). In the case of MGX’s R1361 metallised substrate, a digital topcoat is required to optimise the image quality and adhesion. All the MGX substrates that we have tested work really well with our presses.”
