Meech International’s new 983v2 static locator is a lightweight, ‘pocket-sized’ device said to provide accurate measurement of static electrical charges over a wide range of voltages. It is suitable for use on any material where static is an issue and has a measurement range of -200 kV to +200 kV at a distance of 150 mm, with a resolution of 100 V and a claimed accuracy of better than +/- 5 per cent.
