Manufacturers of coated film plastics can now sheet the product accurately at higher speeds than conventional drop shear equipment, using the SDFK sheeter from Maxson. A continuous operating system allows sheeted material to be accumulated until a completed pile is removed. The machine can handle cut lengths from 279-51,000mm at speeds up to 90m/min. A reject gate diverts out of specification sheets or sample cuts used for quality assurance inspections.
