Mark Andy opens European technology centre

5 March 2007

Mark Andy has officially opened its new Advanced Technology Centre in Basel, Switzerland. The 1,000m2 facility houses a 400m2 showroom/demonstration facility, and a 300m2 parts department, as well as administration offices.

Company president Paul Brauss said: “As Mark Andy puts its priority toward global growth, the opening of the Advanced Technology Centre in Europe marks an important beginning of many initiatives. With a solid foundation of people and products, a showcase like this will allow us to build relationships and support web flexo throughout Europe.”

Dieter Huck, managing director of Mark Andy Europe, announced that during May 7-11 the new facility will open for a week of machine demonstrations and print trials on the presses on show. These include one of the latest servo driven XP5000 presses, the revised 2200 series, and a Comco ProGlide MSP. A Mark Andy VSRD inspection rewind machine will also be available for demonstration. Converters interested in visiting during the Open Week are invited to contact Mark Andy Europe.
